About Amanda Crowe and Robert Kochka
Sports maintenance and recovery
Pre- and Post- Natal
Amanda Crowe enjoys working with people who complain of complicated health histories with little relief, chronic pain, postural imbalances, injury recovery, stress management, depression, sudden pain, Fibromyalgia Syndrome, pregnancy discomforts and is able to adapt all sessions to most complaints.
Her techniques are nurturing, slow, focused and deep. She has a sensitive, intuitive touch that adapts pressure to meet every client’s unique individual needs. By drawing from modalities such as Myofascial Release, deep tissue, Swedish, sports massage, reflexology, trigger point and aromatherapy, she creates effective treatments with long lasting results.
She enjoys working with caregivers of all types, pregnant women and families, bringing a sense of relief and calm to the chaos that families and being a caregiver can bring. She also loves to dance how she feels, receive regular massages, practice yoga, paint and play in the woods by rivers with her family and friends.
Amanda has been practicing therapeutic massage since 2004 after graduating from the Somerset School of Massage Therapy in New Jersey. She has been a North Carolina Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist #8130 since moving to Asheville in 2008. She served our Asheville community for the past 6 years at the Center for Holistic Medicine and has received 3 awards for Best Massage Therapist of Western North Carolina from the Mountain Xpress. While pregnant with her 3rd child she decided to open up Asheville Massage Center, and here we are today!
